Raphael - Urban Decay by Cybercat

First before anything else.. YES I KNOW HE DOESN'T HAVE HIS BANDANA!!! I didn't WANT to draw it.

but yes..I did forget the belt and knee guards. Oh well. ;D

Anyway, I didn't want the mask because you couldn't see all the nifty wrinkles about his eyes if I'd drawn it in.

This was hand drawn in pencils only and then digitally colored in open canvas and then finished off in photoshop. I'm really thrilled with how it came out.

The TMNT are the reasons I started drawing anthros, so I really can't thank their creators enough for inspiring me to learn how to draw people and humanoid creatures. I hope you all enjoy it even if it isn't 'cute'. Some times you just got to do something a little wicked.

Medium: pencil and opencanvas photoshop
Tags: photoshop ninja TMNT FanArt turtle raph raphael
Here Comes the Sun by Kacey

"Little darlin' I feel the ice is slowly meltin'
Little darlin' it seems like years since it's been clear
Here come the sun, here comes the sun
And I say it's all right " - George Harrison, The Beatles

A red panda in cute winter clothing, with the sun peeking out from behind the clouds to warm her back...

I'm happy with the colors I chose, and especially with her whiskers.

Another little painting for FC - Inks and acrylics on 5"x5" Gessobord.

Medium: Inks, Acrylics
Tags: snow sun red winter panda clouds redpanda firefox
Dalia the Boxer by Calzephyr

A gift picture for Lonnie, aka Dalia. I liked the result from a previous Prismacolor picture that I gave the markers another go. Actually, I'm proud of this picture in many ways, because it was drawn on Strathmore's Windpower paper, which means wind energy was used to produce it.

The idea for this kind of came out of the blue. Lonnie is going back to school to pursue art. I'm sure she can KO any obstacles that come her way :-) One of her favourite birds is the red tailed hawk, who can be seen giving some advice on the right hand side. Dalia listens as she eyes her unseen opponent.
